What is our procedure?

Emergency Aid

The sponsors of the families that receive emergency aid are always informed about the kind of aid that has been given.

Children partaking in the sponsor program are considered for a scholarship. Candidates are selected by the Famtofam Contact Person according to strict criteria. During their last two years in secondary education they are monitored so that Famtofam can take a well-founded decision about acceptance. After these two years a final decision is made as to whether a scholarship should be granted. During the first stage of the university studies (the bachelor’s degree) the tuition fees are paid by Famtofam. The money is paid directly to the university so that we are sure it ends up in the right place.
